S.OLIA has arisen with a desire to rediscover traditional, rich, fresh food from the Adria region. The idea was to merge the Austrian cuisine with the Adriatic and rise it on a new level, for new fresh experiences.
Why Adriatic? Adriatic cuisine is generally considered as the healthiest in Europe because of the abundance of fish, olive oil, fresh vegetables and aromatic herbs, but no sharp spices, fat and heavy meat. The world is becoming smaller and smaller, the way of living is changing rapidly. Therefore, we wanted to offer something special, something modern but based in tradition. Nothing is more up-to–date than traditional food, prepared and served in a modern way.
With fair prices for farmers, seasonal freshness and strict quality checks we strive to support the tradition and bring the traditional food on tables of modern families. All S.OLIA products are 100% handmade. All spices are picked, mixed, filled and labelled 100% by hand. Olives are hand trimmed, picked, bottled and labelled, all 100% by hand. All liqueurs are made in a traditional way and 100% by hand. Except of extra virgin olive oil pressing process, no machine is involved in any stage of production.
